10/13/23 My Cousin chartered the double-decker with slide, with with a hired captain. My Lord, we could not have had a better day. Our captain packed a lily pad and paddleboard for us and took us out to the back waters. The boat was immaculate and he took us to a fabulous private sandbar and then out to the mud keys for some mangrove exploring. We watched a perfect sunset before heading back to the dock.  We have rented boats before and tried to follow GPS. And always got mixed up or wasted time getting where we wanted to go. We have also rented boats with captain's before. Every detail was taken care of - from a prompt concierge service to well-maintained boats that come equipped with all the necessary tools and amenities. Unlike other boat rental services I've tried, Fun in the Sun provided us with top-notch equipment like GPS, stereo, VHF, bilge pumps, and more. Nothing felt like the second-hand equipment you might find at generic boat clubs.

But the service doesn't stop at the boat. Once we returned, we could just relax and clean our catch while the team took care of boat cleaning and refueling. Plus, the added perk of using the resort facilities, cleaning tables, and hassle-free parking made the experience even more memorable.

Spent an excellent late afternoon kayak tour with Jack exploring the mangroves and being told about the marine ecology in the area. We really enjoyed Jack's relaxed and fun demeanour, particularly his paasion for marine biology which provided great insight into the area. BEST TIME EVER! I have been to key west before and did boat tours but this was extra special because it was for my sister’s bachelorette. We chartered the double decker pontoon with slide from Fun in the Sun for a four hour day charter. From the initial conversation, I knew this company was reliable, trustworthy, fun and accommodating! I think it is safe to say it was the most memorable part of our trip, plus we all had a BLAST! Our captain Brett, kept in communication with me the morning of our trip and was very helpful with directions and food recommendations. When we arrived, we all noticed how clean the boat was, the coolers were already filled up with ice and waters, so all we had to do was throw our drinks in and sit back and relax! Once we were on the water, Brett pointed out all sorts of wildlife (you could tell he was extremely knowledgeable). We spent the afternoon at a very chill sand bar and when we were ready to try out the boat slide, Brett made sure it was safe for us to start using it. Brett even had a drone and he showed us a little tiger shark that was nearby (Brett watched the shark to ensure he swam away from where we were). I can’t thank Brett and the Fun in the Sun team enough for helping me put on the most memorable bachelorette for my sister! Next time I visit I will be sure to ask for Brett!
