Good news: Key West is a year-round boating destination. Still, each season has its own feel — here’s how to plan.
Winter (Dec–Mar): peak visitor season with beautiful, cooler days. Water trips run great; note our full-day rentals return a little earlier (by 5 PM) with the shorter daylight, and a light warm layer is smart. Book ahead — this is our busiest stretch.
Spring (Apr–May): arguably the sweet spot — warm water, lighter crowds than mid-winter, and excellent snorkeling and sandbar conditions.
Summer (Jun–Aug): the warmest water and longest days, ideal for full-day adventures, snorkeling, and the Dry Tortugas. Lobster mini-season hits in late July — a favorite for our lobstering trips.
Fall (Sep–Nov): quieter and often a great value, with warm water lingering into the season.
Whenever you come, trips are private and by appointment, and busy dates fill up — especially winter weekends and holidays — so reserve early. Ready to pick your day? See our charters or call/text to book.
